Sperm Whales Floral Pair Design Scandinavian Folk Art – © heidiannemorris Card

Two stylised sperm whales facing each other with colourful floral motifs and a central emblem inspired by Mauritius. Sperm whales are globally Endangered, facing threats from ship strikes, noise, entanglement and habitat loss. Around Mauritius, resident and visiting whales are increasingly disturbed by in‑water tourist approaches, affecting resting behaviour and social groups. This design highlights the need to protect all sperm whale populations and their fragile ocean habitats. The Scandinavian Folk Art detailing creates a bold, symmetrical conservation piece.Artwork by heidiannemorris © first published on 29 June 2026, 12:19 BST.
